Finance Director/Treasurer Edgley told the council she had amended the budget to reflect council requests from the May 20 meeting. Mayor James Hamberg asked whether council wanted to proceed with Messmer’s recommendation, and the council agreed to allocate $30,000 to the street project and leave $9,000 in the budget for a temporary police window pass‑thru instead of a secured entryway. The ordinances were moved and seconded (Melville/Curry for 26‑04; Messmer/Hartman for 26‑05) and enacted during the meeting. The budget actions are effective upon adoption as recorded in the meeting minutes.
