Council approves fall events lineup including Sundays on Main and Beer Walk

During the consent agenda the Milan City Council approved three special-event requests.
The approved events are: "Sundays on Main," presented by the Milan DDA, scheduled Aug. 9–Dec. 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; a Veterans Day service presented by American Legion Post 268 on Nov. 11, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; and a Milan DDA Beer Walk on Sept. 18, 2026, starting at 5:00 p.m. Councilmember Stafford moved to approve the consent agenda and Councilmember Snyder seconded; the consent agenda was approved unanimously.
Approvals on the consent agenda allow organizers to proceed with event logistics under any conditions included in their permits and city TCOs (temporary certificates of occupancy) where applicable.
