South Ogden honors Fire B-Shift for successful resuscitation; Peter Yoon promoted to fire engineer

South Ogden city leaders formally recognized five members of the Fire Department’s B-Shift July 1 for their role in a successful cardiac-arrest resuscitation. The council acknowledged Darin Ryan, Justin Stapleton, Peter Yoon, Ryan Johnson and Travis Yowell; Darin Ryan and Peter Yoon accepted the recognition on behalf of the shift.
Deputy Fire Chief Brandon Storey provided details of the resuscitation during the presentation and Fire Chief Cameron West offered comments recognizing the team’s work. The council also noted Peter Yoon’s advancement to the rank of Fire Engineer as part of the recognitions.
