The Mukilteo School District Board of Directors voted to adopt Resolution 13 20 25 26 approving pro and con committee members for the November 2026 capital bond ballot measure.
Director of Communications and Public Relations Julianne Repman presented the appointments and told the board the district had three applicants for the pro committee—identified as Angela, Judith M. Schwab and Nee Fam—and one applicant for the con committee, Sophia Miga. "Our 1st deadline is Monday, August 4. We need to get our pro con committee appointments over to the county," Repman said.
Board President Kyle Kennedy called for a motion; a board member moved to adopt the resolution and another seconded. After calling for the ayes and nays, the president declared the motion passed unanimously. District staff said they would collect signatures on the pro and con statements and submit them to the Snohomish County elections office by the county deadline.
The resolution text was read on the record as "Resolution 13 20 25 26" (as spoken at the meeting); the board adopted the appointments "as presented." The record shows three pro-applicants accepted and one con-applicant accepted; the board did not add further members at the meeting.
The meeting lasted about 15 minutes and was held virtually via Microsoft Teams. The district will complete and file the required paperwork with Snohomish County by Aug. 4.
