"If you are not on the Enhanced plan then you aren’t always open to receiving grant money," Turner said, urging commissioners to review the draft sections before a July meeting where Sam will lead the Energy-chapter discussion.
Commissioners discussed sequencing the Municipal Plan Climate Guide work and using the enhanced plan as a vehicle to tap grant opportunities. Turner asked members to read the Natural Resources and Energy sections and to expect a July follow-up session focused on energy; no grant awards or formal commitments were taken at this meeting.
