During public business the commission reviewed a nuisance-trapping proposal for removal of groundhogs and accepted the contractor's rates and terms. Commissioners voted to accept the proposal after Susan Lyons relayed that the trapper would charge "$30.00 per cemetery and $65.00/groundhog" and that he could not begin until June 1 because of recent knee surgery.
Commissioner Matt Walker moved to accept the proposal and Commissioner Daphne Herwig seconded; the motion passed unanimously. Susan Lyons said she would contact the trapper to complete paperwork and schedule the work once he is available.
