Mayor Pearson presented a framed proclamation on Aug. 6 recognizing Seaside Park’s past mayors and declaring the date “Local Elected Officials Day.” The proclamation, donated by the Seaside Park Historical Society, commemorates mayors who guided the borough through storms, reconstruction and community development.
The mayor read the proclamation text and thanked past officials and their families for public service. “We hereby proclaim 08/06/2026 as local elected officials day,” Mayor Pearson said. Council members and attendees offered brief congratulations; the proclamation will be hung in borough hall.
