The Village of Waynesville reported a change order has been approved for the traffic-signal project at Route 42 and Corwin and that work is scheduled to begin in May. Village staff said the first County CVT payment of $128,215 has been received and that an additional $91,000 has been approved toward the project.
Village Manager and Director of Public Safety Gary Copeland delivered the update during the manager’s report, noting timing and funding availability. The council did not take a separate vote on the change order during the April 7 meeting; staff indicated construction will begin next month and that the CVT funds are the primary capital source reported at the meeting.
