Morris said some of the expected funding comes from federal sources: "This this is gonna be federally funded. So it is through, through HUD, community development block grants." He added application windows and some program details are still being finalized and asked committee members not to quote specific numbers until finalized.
Staff said one application window is expected to open in January and that the city will coordinate community-development resources with volunteer and neighborhood stewardship programs. Morris also described a sustainability program that will expand from about 30 participants to roughly 50 this year to provide recurring maintenance support for vulnerable residents.
