Plan Commission approves certified survey map to enable Sonnenberg school parking expansion

The Village of Pleasant Prairie Plan Commission approved a certified survey map that creates two lots from a single lot in Lakeview Corporate Park to facilitate a parking expansion at the Sonnenberg school site near 72nd and Highway 165. Staff said Lot 1 would be a 0.75-acre parcel that will be combined with the existing school property, and the existing drainage easement across the northern section of the new lot will remain.
Staff told the commission the lot must be combined with Parcel 1 of CSM 2069 within three months of recording and that construction of the parking lot must commence within one year of the CSM recording date. A committee member moved to approve the CSM and the motion carried on a voice vote.
