Rebecca Honan reported out of the Audit & Finance Committee at the Aug. 25 meeting, noting review of minutes from June 9, internal claims auditor reports and the status of the corrective action plan related to the Comptroller’s audit. She welcomed Howard Forsythe as the committee’s new community member.
The Board approved the updated Audit & Finance Committee charter in a recorded vote (5 Ayes, 0 Nays). Board members suggested posting committee meeting dates and including general topics on the district website to increase transparency.
