During the regular meeting portion following the reorganizational session, the Avon board approved a slate of personnel actions recommended by Superintendent Ryan Pacatte.
Notable approvals include the probationary appointment of Madison DeWater (vocal music teacher) effective Aug. 28, 2025 with a probationary period through Aug. 27, 2029; Christine Fortune as a long‑term substitute elementary teacher (July 10, 2025–June 30, 2026); Karyn Lipome as a 10‑month Clerk/Typist (probationary period ending Dec. 20, 2025); Magdalene Kennell as a teaching assistant (effective Aug. 28, 2025; probation through Aug. 27, 2029); and Patricia Hite as Food Service Worker (effective Aug. 28, 2025).
The board also approved the roster of UPK–12 summer program staff and a list of fall coaching assignments, and accepted the resignation of Corine Feck, a math teacher, effective Aug. 3, 2025. Motions were carried as recorded in the minutes.
