Flowood aldermen approve rezoning for parcel in Section 33 from L-C to C-3

The City of Flowood opened a public hearing Aug. 21 on an application to rezone a parcel described as the NW 1/4 of the SE 1/4 of Section 33, T6N, R2E from L-C (local commercial) to C-3 (commercial). Mike Prestage explained the purpose of the application and the need for rezoning.
Alderman Kirk McDaniel moved to approve the rezoning and to adopt the ordinance; Alderman Deron Harmon seconded the motion and the board approved it unanimously. The minutes indicate the ordinance and supporting materials are on file with the board's meeting documents.
