The Executive Committee considered a proposed amendment to Rule #40 to permit attendance by audio and/or video conferencing for quorum and stipend purposes. After discussion, Supervisor Nick Baker moved to deny the proposed amendment; Supervisor Alan Jaques seconded. A roll-call vote was taken and the motion to deny passed 6 Yes, 1 No. Supervisor Sue Hendrickson cast the sole No vote.
The minutes record the explicit roll-call tally but do not record an extended debate; the committee therefore declined to change Rule #40 and the proposed amendment will not be forwarded as presented.
