After Holloman and his wife were invited forward for a presentation and photos, his wife said the operation relies on community labor: "we have over 200 volunteers, including the helicopter pilot. No money goes to anybody. All the money that we collect goes strictly to the toys that we provide to the to the, Children.", she said. The couple said the group's 50th party is planned for 2026.
The council framed the recognition as part of a broader Spotlight series on economic growth and community partnership; Mayor Gray thanked Holloman for "your leadership, your perseverance, and your heart for this community." The presentation emphasized the drive's role in connecting businesses, city staff and human services to deliver gifts and an experience for children in Hampton.
