Board hears Brookside update; resident requests meeting over assessment error

Supervisor Bill Wood briefed the board on the Brookside project, saying parties including the school, county, IDA and the towns "have reached an agreement and are waiting for the next step." Jeremy Evans was unable to attend the meeting but the supervisor provided the update.
During public comment resident June Parmeter asked to meet with the Town Board about a property assessment she said was recorded incorrectly and asked for the Town Hall Wi‑Fi password, which the board provided. The minutes record: "June Parmeter requested to meet with the Town Board regarding property assessment that was recorded incorrectly and has not been changed. The Board agreed to meet with her at the next Town Board meeting in October."
The board did not resolve the assessment issue at the meeting; members scheduled follow up for the October board meeting.
