Flowood to advertise Liberty Park turf bids; Conference Center roadway bid awarded to Hemphill Construction

Public Works Director Garry Miller requested authorization to advertise for bids for the Liberty Park Baseball Fields turf project; the Board approved the request and authorized advertising for bids. Miller also presented bids for the Conference Center Roadway improvements and the Board authorized awarding the project to Hemphill Construction.
Aldermen voted unanimously on both actions. The approvals allow the City to proceed to the procurement stage for turf and to contract with Hemphill Construction to begin Conference Center roadway improvements per the accepted bid.
