The Loyalton City Council voted unanimously to approve the surplus of a 2000 Pierce Dash fire engine. Councilmember S. Mcllravy moved, seconded by J. Gerow, to "approve the surplus for 2000 Pierce Dash Fire engine," and the motion carried without opposition.
Councilmember Mcllravy also reported the Fire Department needs a jaws-of-life tool; the council agreed to add that equipment request to the next agenda for staff to prepare cost and specification details. No purchase authorization was made at the Sept. 16 meeting.
