Loyalton fire chief: 131 calls this year, new engine in service; city asked to check 505 Main St.

Assistant Fire Chief DeMartini reported to the council that the department has responded to 131 calls so far this year and that Chief Heywood brought the new fire engine into the city. DeMartini also noted a new fence has been installed and that ongoing fire training continues.
DeMartini asked the city to check ownership of 505 Main Street, which he described as a hazard. The council approved an addendum to the Loyalton Fire Department Financial Policy on a motion by S. Mcllravy, seconded by B. Mertton; the motion carried unanimously.
