Vernon County health department to host preparedness booth at Moon Creek Watershed May 2

Martha Olson (director) told the board the department will participate in a preparedness event at the Moon Creek Watershed on May 2 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., where staff will hand out preparedness kits and coordinate with local partners.
Olson listed in-kind donations committed so far, including 150 flashlights from West Bay Area Schools and 150 five-gallon buckets from GFL; Kwik Trip and Walmart each donated $100. She said the event is free and open to the public and that the department will finalize how to spend donated cash at an upcoming meeting.
