The village’s three‑year collective bargaining agreement with Local 3785 includes a 4% wage increase in 2026 and 3.25% increases for 2027 and 2028, Chief Dave Wilkinson told the board. He stated the previous contract expired Dec. 31, 2025.
The contract also establishes additions to compensation and retirement contributions: a $500 Kenosha County HAZMAT stipend that will be deposited into MissionSquare retirement accounts and $1.50 per hour paramedic preceptor pay while staff are precepting. Staff cited comparables with neighboring agencies during the recommendation to approve the contract.
