Trustees approved a Putnam County Painting quote of $8,100 to perform five‑year inspection and maintenance work on the Village of Sheffield water tower and pressure tank. Engineer Mike Perry’s recommendation was reviewed by the board and Clerk Ries said sufficient funds exist in the Water Surcharge Account to cover the cost.
The motion to approve the maintenance contract passed on a roll call vote with Adams, Corwin, Price and Taylor voting AYE and Barry and DeVoss recorded absent. The approval follows the board’s review of recommended inspection and maintenance to meet five‑year requirements.
