District says high school renovation remains on track despite weather; portions of K Pod to open this year

Dr. Bauer gave the July construction update for the district’s high school renovation and said work is progressing despite recent weather-related setbacks.
"So far so good? Knock on knock on wood," he said, adding that "it looks like we'll be right on time for the start of the school year." Dr. Bauer noted the main office and first-floor K Pod should be open and that future phases will roll out over the next five years.
He also encouraged alumni and community members to view the project updates posted to the district feed and said officials plan tours and a ribbon-cutting when the renovation reaches its final stages.
