County keeps planned 1-foot paved shoulders on CTH‑F despite Lakewood request; county short of funds to meet 16‑mile paving goal

Committee members also discussed broader paving goals. The county is budgeted to pave 8.12 miles this season, including $577,000 in LRIP funding. Committee members noted a 16-mile-per-year goal would be needed to preserve a 20-year pavement life on the county’s 318 miles of roads and estimated roughly $2 million more would be required to reach that goal this year.
