The Byron-Bergen Board voted to approve the 2025-2026 Tax Warrant Adjustment at the Oct. 15 meeting. The motion was moved by L. Smith and seconded by R. Pringle; the recorded vote was 6 Yes, 0 No.
Business Administrator L. Prinz told the board tax collection for the period is over 91% with the final day for collection on Oct. 30. Prinz said a change in the tax levy reflected a solar farm being added to the tax rolls. The board approved the adjustment and revised Schedule B designations effective Oct. 20, 2025.
Board members did not request immediate changes to collection practices; trustees asked staff to continue monitoring collections through the October 30 deadline and to report any follow-up items at the next meeting.
