"We did have a ready communicator training on the 25th. So now we are up to 59 total ready communicators," Selena said, and she praised Mark Dolan for running the sessions. She said the "Ready and Able" session was tailored for older adults and focused on staying safe, assessing situations and calling 911 rather than performing physically demanding tasks.
Selena also outlined a planned backup-power workshop aimed at a range of skill levels and tentatively scheduled for a Friday evening this month. She asked committee members to help publicize the training once the date is confirmed.
