The Camden Central School District Board of Education on May 19, 2026, approved a resolution authorizing the issuance of revenue anticipation notes in an aggregate principal amount not to exceed $5,800,000 for the 2026–27 fiscal year (July 1, 2026–June 30, 2027). The resolution states the authorization is made pursuant to Sections 25 and 39 of the New York Local Finance Law.
The minutes record that the estimated amount of uncollected revenues against which such notes are authorized is $44,000,000, that the period of maturity of the notes shall be nine months, and that the district irrevocably pledges its faith and credit for payment of principal and interest. The motion was moved by Mrs. Portner, seconded by Mrs. Stone, and adopted by unanimous roll call (Fanning, Mitchell, Petrie, Portner, Stone voting YES).
The authorization takes effect immediately; details of terms, sale, and any renewals are to be determined by the President of the Board as authorized under the delegation approved during the same meeting.
