The Camden Central School District Board of Education met in special session on May 19, 2026, at Camden High School; Mr. Mitchell, Board Vice President, called the meeting to order at 7:07 p.m. On motion by Mrs. Portner and second by Mrs. Stone, the board unanimously amended and approved a revised agenda.
After adopting the revised agenda, Mr. Petrie moved and Mrs. Stone seconded a separate motion to use a consent-agenda format for business items. That motion also passed by a unanimous vote. The minutes record that the motions were approved without dissent.
The board’s adoption of a consent-agenda format means routine or noncontroversial items may be bundled for single approval; the minutes show this procedural change was cleared before the board considered financial authorizations later in the meeting. The meeting record lists Mr. Fanning; Mr. Mitchell; Mr. Petrie; Mrs. Portner; and Mrs. Stone as voting YES on recorded roll calls.
