The Camden Central School District board on April 21 approved a broad personnel report that included a Reduction in Force (RIF) effective June 30, 2026 and several appointments and retirements. The RIF listing named instructional staff slated for separation on 6/30/26, including Alexandra Bishop (Grade 1), Scott Ferrare (Teacher-Music), Travis Goff (Teacher-Science), Carrie Bond (Family and Consumer Science), Katie Hotard (Grade 3), Michelle Maloney (Teacher-Science), Heather Wieland (Director of Technology and Instructional Data), and others; the agenda noted employees with active health insurance were prepaid through Aug. 31, 2026.
The personnel actions also included an administrative appointment for Stacey Vaile as Director of Transportation (effective March 13, 2026), multiple resignations and retirements (Betty Hogeboon at 22 years of service and Kelly Lewin at 29 years), recommended election inspectors for the budget vote, substitute and summer-school staffing approvals, and leave-of-absence listings with specified dates and paid/unpaid status.
