Dr. Clauson told the Board that "the total cost of this unfunded mandate is just over $100,000 annually." The MOU was placed on the consent agenda and approved as part of the consent vote. The Board also approved a resolution accepting an exemption from the Cook County Paid Leave Ordinance on the recommendation of legal counsel, noting district leave obligations under School Code.
