Board declines new "Safe Haven" resolution, says current policies align with law

The administration reported it is "not advising districts to take any individual actions" beyond existing legal compliance and training.
Board members discussed whether to adopt a separate resolution; they ultimately agreed to "stay the course," continue current practices, and communicate relevant information to families when appropriate rather than adopting a district-specific Safe Haven resolution at this time.
