District administrators outlined planned spring-break and summer facility projects, including updated classroom displays at Edison, repair and repaving of Edison's northeast parking lot, HVAC supplemental heating installations at Edison and Madison, cafeteria upgrades and gym floor refinishing. The district received a $50,000 School Maintenance Project matching grant to support the parking lot work and set a pre-bid meeting for March 20 and a bid opening on April 2.
The administration provided a project timeline: work is anticipated to start June 10 and conclude by July 31. The Board was informed that certain projects (display demolition and electrical work for new displays, piping and controls for radiant systems, and cafeteria improvements) will be funded through capital project budgets and the matching grant.
