Superintendent provided a series of short updates including the district leadership retreat July 7–9, new educator orientation Aug. 12–14, teacher institute days Aug. 20, and the first day of K–8 on Aug. 25. The superintendent emphasized that the Early Childhood Center ribbon-cutting on Aug. 20 will be open to the public and include a walk-through of the new space.
On facilities and campus signage, the superintendent said the district is replacing and improving several signs to increase visibility and wayfinding, including a five-foot wayfinding sign planned for a prominent campus location. The change will include upgraded digital signage for more frequent messaging and options such as QR codes to link families directly to district information.
