Resident warns commissioners to restore code-enforcement pay after omission from 10% increase

Henry Anderson, a District 3 constituent, used his three-minute public-comment slot to press the Clayton County Board of Commissioners to restore code-enforcement staff to a proposed 10% pay increase for public-safety personnel. Anderson told the board the omission was "inexcusable" and urged commissioners to vote to correct it, saying "3 votes, at least, can make it right."
Anderson said he had provided written material to the board and that, if action is not taken, he will continue his comments at the Sept. 1 meeting. He framed the request as a corrective action for a personnel allocation he described as "unjustified, unacceptable, indefensible, disrespectful, unpardonable, and just plain wrong," and asked the board to bring the matter back for a vote before September.
