The Village of Lazy Lake council set a tentative millage rate of 6.5000 for the 2024–2025 fiscal year and adopted the village's tentative budget during its Sept. 9, 2024 meeting. Council Member Warren Nadeau moved to approve Resolution 2024-03 (tentative millage), and Council Member Ray Nyhuis seconded; the motion passed 3-0 with Council Members Jeff Grenell and Mark DiPaolo absent for that vote.
The council then adopted Resolution 2024-04, the village's tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2024–2025. Nadeau moved the budget adoption and Council Member William Daugherty seconded; that motion also passed 3-0, with Grenell and DiPaolo recorded as absent. The resolutions establish the tentative levy and the tentative budget and set a later public hearing to consider the final millage rate and final budget for the village. The minutes do not specify the date or time for the final hearing.
