City Manager Tyler Franzky delivered the Public Works report on behalf of Public Works Superintendent Kurt Collin. Franzky said an accident on the 6th Street boulevard damaged underground electrical, a light pole and landscaping; staff will submit an insurance claim for the damage.
Franzky also reported the community pool’s new heater has arrived but that final connection is pending replacement of the filter media. City crews assisted with cleanup after Riverfest, performed mowing and weed control at duplex properties, assessed alleys for patching, and completed electrical work for the solar array at the wastewater plant.
