Planning commission approves consent items, re‑elects chair and vice chair; multiple extensions granted (7‑0 votes)

At its Feb. 11 meeting the commission unanimously approved the Jan. 14 minutes, re‑elected leadership, approved the H‑E‑B replat (FR25‑0019), granted plat extensions and passed site‑plan and SUP items; most motions passed 7‑0.
The Denton Planning and Zoning Commission re‑elected its leadership and approved a slate of routine and substantive items by unanimous votes on Feb. 11. Commissioner Riggs was nominated and approved as vice chair and the current chair (Pruitt) was retained; the commission approved the Jan. 14 meeting minutes and passed consent and individual items including FR25‑0019 (HEB final replat), ZCP25‑38 (Crunch Fitness site plan) and S250014 (outdoor storage SUP) by 7‑0 tallies.
Several plat extension motions were also granted: PP25‑5D (extension to Feb. 25 for Roselawn Meadows preliminary plat), and 4DFP26‑1 (extension to 02/25/2026) were approved to allow applicants time to resolve outstanding criteria. Chair Pruitt called each roll and confirmed unanimous results for the noted votes.
