Laurel Anderson (S2) addressed the court with a petition signed by residents of the Northwest side of Lake Ludwig asking the court to take action on persistent dust from County Road 3568 and to pave or chip-seal the affected stretch.
"We, the residents that live on the Northwest Side Of Lake Ludwig, County Road 3568," Laurel Anderson (S2) read as she described photos and vehicle counts provided to the court and asked for a permanent solution to the dust problem.
The chair (S1) explained that paving requires a 50-foot easement (if none exists), a 22-foot road width and six inches of hard material; he said the court would consider the request in November, seek bids in January and try to balance paving needs against other county priorities. Residents also suggested enforcement or speed bumps as interim measures; the court asked staff and the sheriff’s office to review enforcement options and to include the project in the upcoming bid schedule.
