The Village approved buying a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 for Public Works at a cost of $55,000. Public Works Superintendent Brian English told the board the village traded in a red 2008 truck that had broken down as part of the transaction.
President Richard Samples called for a motion; Trustee Jordan moved, Trustee Luber seconded, and the board approved the purchase by roll call. The purchase was presented as part of routine fleet replacement and no financing change was discussed on the record.
Brian English also reported ongoing maintenance work across parks and streets, including bids for dead-tree removal and parking-lot repairs discussed elsewhere on the agenda.
