Board approves minutes, consent agenda, school calendar and 2026–27 meeting calendar
Summary
The Skokie School District 68 Board approved the April 16, 2026 regular and closed minutes, adopted the consent agenda (personnel, finance, payroll, policy 2nd readings), and approved the final 2025–26 school calendar (last day June 8, 2026) and the 2026–27 board meeting calendar; all recorded roll-call votes were unanimous AYEs from seven members.

Ms. Scheer moved and Mr. Glickman seconded approval of the April 16, 2026 regular and closed session minutes; roll call recorded AYE votes from Katrina Bell-Jordan, Jeremy Glickman, Emily Lonigro, Shira Roth, Jill Scheer, Jeff Sterbenc and Annie Warshaw, and the motion carried.
The board then approved the consent agenda on a motion by Dr. Bell-Jordan and second by Mr. Sterbenc; that package included the personnel report, financial reports (Fund Balances for March 2026 and Statement of Position), pay orders and expenditures, payroll report, and policy second readings. Later, Mr. Glickman moved and Mr. Strebenc seconded approval of the final 2025–26 school calendar setting the last day of school on Monday, June 8, 2026; and Mr. Sterbenc moved and Mr. Glickman seconded approval of the regular Board of Education meeting calendar for 2026–27. All roll-call votes were unanimous AYEs by the seven board members present.
