The Conservation Committee previewed a new internal reference website designed to collate public records, previous site reports, permit documents, and onboarding materials for new members. Judy Murphy said the site is ‘‘informational only’’ and that everything on it is already public record; the new platform is intended to make documents easier to find than a scattered Google Drive and to preserve institutional memory.
Committee members discussed Brown Act implications and confirmed the site contains no feedback mechanism and will remain for internal committee use. Access will be distributed via password to committee members and subcommittees; staff will provide passwords offline rather than posting them in the minutes. The committee agreed to test the site and return at the next meeting with suggested improvements.
