The Village of South Chicago Heights Committee of the Whole convened at Village Hall, 3317 Chicago Road, on Monday, June 1, 2026. Mayor Terry Matthews called the meeting to order at 6:33 p.m., and Village Clerk Catherine Linan performed the roll call; a roster of officials was recorded as present and DC Police Kozinski was noted absent.
Village Attorney Matt Welch arrived shortly after the meeting began, at about 6:36 p.m. There were no public comments. After a short discussion of a business-license application for Society LLC Cigar Lounge at 186 W Sauk Trail, Trustee Eric Stanton moved to adjourn and Trustee Daryl Crudup seconded; a voice vote was taken and the chair reported all ayes, no nays. "The meeting was adjourned at 6:44p.m.," the minutes state. Catherine Linan, Village Clerk, dated the minutes June 17, 2026.
