Cass County awards $746,765.29 roadway contract for County Road 161 improvements

Anderson reported the County and Smoky Hollow Township received $341,000 in State Park Road Account funding for the project and asked the Board to award the contract. The Board unanimously awarded Contract No. 60020 to Midwest Contracting, LLC for $746,765.29. The contract award moves the project from planning toward construction and addresses recurring maintenance concerns on the roadway segment.
