Council warned about massive data‑center proposals near Chattahoochee Hills, cites power and water risks

Council discussed the state's potential role in preempting local zoning for projects of statewide priority and the need to weigh tax benefits against infrastructure costs. Members agreed the comprehensive-plan update is an opportunity to consider best practices and zoning definitions to address where and how such facilities could be sited.
