The board met in closed session from 4:00–5:00 p.m. before the open meeting on Dec. 16 to address matters of public employment (including resignations, hirings, leaves, contracts, reassignments and layoffs) under Government Code § 54957, and to confer with labor negotiators on matters involving classified employees (CSEA), certificated employees (MARFAC), management and confidential staff; district negotiators were Dr. Rachel Valenzuela and Renee Loeza.
When the board reconvened in open session at 5:00 p.m., it reported that there was no report out of closed session. No public disclosures or formal board actions from the closed session were recorded in the minutes.
