Staff presented the Burnside Preliminary Plat to create one 5.1± acre lot from a roughly 50-acre tract in Shafer Township. Beth Gervais reported soils and wetland delineation had been verified by county staff and the Shafer Town Board recommended approval without comment. The applicant Melanie Emery was present and the Commission had no questions.
The Commission adopted Resolution PC2026-0704 recommending approval, with the standard condition that the Final Plat be submitted within one year unless an extension is granted (motion by Jim McCarthy; second by Eric Leivian).
