Beth Gervais, Chisago County Land Services Coordinator, told the Planning Commission the Preliminary Plat application by Principal Acres LLC (applicant Kacper Piechnik) proposes to divide a 46.46-acre parcel into four lots that meet county dimensional and septic-area standards. She said soils were verified and the Chisago County Highway Department approved the number and locations of proposed driveway accesses on CSAH 12, though the wetland delineation review remained outstanding.
After a brief presentation by Tim Houle of Widseth on behalf of the property owner and no public comment, the Planning Commission adopted Resolution No. PC2026-0701 recommending approval with conditions. The resolution requires final plat submittal only after wetland review, acquisition of applicable federal, state and county permits, and completion of the final plat within one year unless an extension is granted. "Request for Final Plat shall not be submitted until the County has finalized its review of the associated wetland delineation and issued a Notice of Decision pursuant to the MN Wetland Conservation Act," the draft condition states.
