Hughes offered a rough maintenance example—"Let's say that's $400,000"—to illustrate how costs might be split and emphasized that any agreement should be signed only after towns have reviewed actual cost estimates. The board agreed to schedule a workshop and asked Hughes to provide the committee agreement and budget figures so the board could vet the proposal before any action or warrant placement.
