Before approving the consent agenda, Mayor Siedell moved to remove resolution 35 for amendment. Commissioner Troy moved to amend resolution 35 by removing Mr. Ramos’s name from the appointments to the Fire Department; Mayor Siedell seconded and the amendment was approved unanimously. Commissioner Troy then moved to approve the amended resolution 35; Mayor Siedell seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
After that adjustment the commission approved the consent agenda by motion and unanimous consent. The consent list included authorization to approve an emergency temporary budget, reserve transfers, payment of vouchers, grant of exempt veteran status and tax cancellations/refunds, event permits (including the Haddonfield Crafts and Fine Arts Festival and Summer Street Fest), authorization to advertise for sealed bids for the 2026 road program, sale of surplus items online, release of a performance bond for the police building, and a temporary exterior‑decoration approval for downtown 250th celebrations.
