The Authority received multiple status updates on Brownfield and rehabilitation projects. Staff reported no new updates from the Manistee County Brownfield Redevelopment Authority; the Allen Edwin Homes project in Manistee Township is expected to return to that Authority for further review after plan revisions.
Members discussed hazardous soil removal and requirements at the 518 First Street (Rengo Oil) site. Staff also reported that work on the 141 Washington (Hotel Northern) project remains in progress, with upper-story window replacement pending approval by the State Historic Preservation Office and an estimated 10—6 12-week lead time for windows.
